Reduced heating bills

It’s hard to quantify heating reductions or cost savings because every scenario is different – percentages and pounds depend on the energy efficiency of other parts of your home, your heating methods, the local climate and how you use the insulated rooms.

But naturally, insulating such a large area will reduce the heating you need, often by 10-20%+. Anecdotally, one customer saw a 43% saving compared to the same period the previous year.

New-build homes are required by building regulations to have meaningful underfloor insulation, which our system more than exceeds.

We are working to scientifically test and certify the performance of Warmdwell insulation, but this requires a multi-year study with independent bodies.

But as a comparison, energy saving will logically be significantly more than double- or even triple-glazing your windows because the area insulated is so much greater and the difference between a non- and post-insulated floor is much more fundamental than between single- and multi-paned glass. Similarly, wall cavity insulation has a low depth of insulation possible (with the risk of bridging moisture), which is a limiting factor on performance.
